Durable and Reliable Design
The BC44Pro is engineered for exceptional durability, making it a top choice for audio enthusiasts. The short cable connecting to headphones often experiences significant bending, which can lead to wear and tear, particularly at the joint areas (strain relief). To combat this, the BC44Pro incorporates an innovative dual-shell structure. The inner shell is molded with the cable, similar to reinforcing steel in concrete, providing robust structural integrity. The outer titanium alloy shell is then reverse-inserted and secured with a threaded lock, ensuring maximum protection against daily use.
Pro-Level Eight-Strand Braided Wire
BC44Pro utilizes the same high-quality shielding wire found in Nyx Pro cables. This specialized wire features a metallic-coated fiber shielding layer, which is meticulously woven and placed between the inner and outer insulation layers. The main core of the cable is enveloped in this soft conductive fiber, enhancing signal integrity and minimizing interference.
Floating Shielding with No Ground Connection
The 4.4mm balanced plug has a ground line (fifth section). When connecting a player to a headphone amplifier using a 4.4mm cable, if the ground lines are connected, the ground or chassis of the player and amplifier will also connect, which can lead to potential issues with noise or interference. Conversely, if they are not connected, it allows for a cleaner setup. The BC44Pro is designed such that each signal line features a shielding layer that does not connect to ground. This design choice prevents any adverse effects from ground loops, thereby mitigating issues related to charging interference when the player and amplifier share a ground.
